WHY UNDER AGE DRINKING?

The consumption of alcohol by under age children is increasing in a scary numbers.Here are the reasons behind the dark truth:

FAMILY STRUCTURES

Most of these children grow up in homes where the talk is all about alcohol , children learn better from their parents, siblings and extended families.Children are children even their thinking capacity is not well build , you find teenagers still on puberty stage trying to fit in their parents shoes by holding a bottle of beer swallow it and make a funny face.This is a reflection of a home they are brought in.

Some of the parents work so hard that they don't even notice the things their children do behind their back.In a country of unemployment parents find themselves afraid to loose their jobs ,or even working while also managing businesses on the other hand because the cost of living is high ,this enables parents to neglect their own children.Now children get mislead and parented by the street giving them alcohol easy and feeding them with drugs.

TARVEN OWNERS

These days alcohol owners no longer ask teenagers their age when they go buy alcohol , in a capitalist system business owners find themselves seling at the cost of causing the moral decay.Looking at the Parents-children- sellers analogy the blaime goes to the three for neglecting the roles of which each have to play, parents have responsibility to monitor their children, children have responsibility of making their parents work easy by doing right without been monitored , and sellers have responsibility to not allow children to buy alcohol in their businesses.

THE SOCIETY/COMMUNITY

The culture of bottle to mouth is getting out of hand while making beings trembling with their feet reason being beings run to alcohol as a social gathering and the only fun.Mostly in ghetto areas if you have not seen someone for too long the chances are so high that you're going to meet them at the tarven, business owners are found at the tarven, people who have left the city and came back are found at the tarven, and for one reason and one reason only just to consume alcohol the irony is you find old people seating just next to minors looking at them as they marinate the poisonous water without being told that is wrong.

GOVERNMENT

The government has a big hand in this, not to blaime it for the decision of which children take on the daily .However the government gave children so many rights to a point where parents don't know how to parents or discipline their children anymore when they misbehave.I can't stress enough the fact that children hold more power standing on top of their rights, see how the government raise children on behalf of their parents.

This one is very important, we don't have enough recreational activities for children and for adults too.In a community where the only recreational activity is dancing in a club or tarven everyone will go to a tarven for celebration, or to have fun.If the government can decide to build more recreational facilities it will solve portion of the problem in our society.Our people also have a responsibility to open businesses that help people to celebrate better than just consuming alcohol, as much as we blaime government we should blaime ourselves as a society too.
