Unemployment a second pendemic

-

Walking around the ghetto streets during working hours what you see is heart breaking , flexible young and old people walking up and down hustling for bread. For every ghetto you visit you will find young people who finished their matric standing next to the Indian shops ,they did CV's and they have been submitting without luck due to high unemployment rate.

When the is a vacant at the retail store the CV box get full within a day of announcement.Within the ghetto we have what we call piece jobs , these are odd jobs our people survive with.Piece jobs is none contract job hence it doesn't quaranty stability and sustainability for the appointed employee.

I just saw two young people seating under a tree as quiet as they can be maybe they were listening to the sound of the wind as it blows , or maybe they were replaying the voices of their parents telling them how useless they are and they should find jobs so that they can help with the food at home.

Unemployment is one of reason for mental health problems in our society , young people want to be useful not feel useless as a day pass by.You see them trying to avoid counting days because yesterday is the same as today nothing more can be done besides hoping for better days to come with their CVs .

This monster (unemployment) doesn't only hunt on young people, it also beat upon old people who are trying to take care of their families.More relationships have ended because of unemployment ,to this day many fights within households are caused by unemployment.
